Notifications for shared projects

Notifications keep other eCAT users informed of your work.

It's really important to be able to let other people in the lab know when you have something ready for them to see or review -- e.g. a partially completed experiment which needs to be reviewed by the postdoc or the PI -- or when you want someone to do something -- e.g. replace the stock of a reagent. You can put links in notifications to eCAT records you want recipient(s) to look at -- so notifications can help you, and them, save time. And each new notification eCAT users receive is flagged with a number, which stays there until they have looked at it, so you can be sure your notifications won't be made in vain!

eCAT is a flexible, easy to use electronic lab notebook that lets you add structure to your lab's research data in an integrated collaborative online environment.
